My first awarded photograph

Last month I won second place in the V Photography Contest promoted by the Brazilian Consulate General in Tokyo.

One of the themes was “Japanese Culture by the Eyes of Brazilians” and I entered with this photograph from 2021 taken in Eiheiji Temple, located in Fukui prefecture.

There was a small event held at the Brazilian Embassy Building, somewhere between Roppongi and Shibuya, where I could meet the other winners and the staff of the Embassy.

Coming from a very difficult 2023, I took that as a beautiful sign that I should continue in this (hopefully) long photographic journey.
